Currently we are using Kagi to process all of our payments. Kagi provides many ways to register and get the full version. The easiest method is to use the "Register" program included with "Dream Wars". If "Register" wasn't included, you can download it off our website.
Using "Register"
1. Open up "Register".
2. Fill in all the fields of information, your name, e-mail, payment method, and number of users.
3. Select "Dream Wars!" for the product you want to buy.
4. THIS IS IMPORTANT. Click the little word balloon before the words "Dream Wars!". Now fill in your registration code. The registration code appears in the lower-left corner of the first dialog( after it displays the company logo ), every time you start up the demo version of "Dream Wars!". Write this down before you register. This is very important to do otherwise you will not be able to get your unlock code as fast as you want it.
5. If you are going to send it through e-mail then choose "Save As" from the file menu. If postal click "Print".
Through E-Mail
1. Follow the steps in Using "Register".
2. Make a new e-mail message and send the output of the "Register" program to "sales@kagi.com". Do not send a screenshot or the actual "Register" program, just the saved file. You can either copy the output of the file (By pushing the "Copy..." button in the "Register" program ) and paste in the body of the e-mail, or you can attach the file you get by clicking "Save...". There is no need to compress the file.
Through Postal Mail
1. Follow the steps in Using "Register".
2. Push the "Print..." button.
Send the printed file to the address below:
Kagi

Fax
1. Follow the steps in Using "Register".
2. Then fax the printout to:

Over the Phone
Note that this is not recommended. Call the below phone number and follow the instructions the automated phone system gives you.

How Long Will It Take?
There are 2 delays. One for the information to get to Kagi and the second for Kagi to send the information to me. You should get a confirmation message from them on the day that they recieve it, (3-4 days). Then it is up to us to send you the correct unlock code, which at maximum could take 5 days from recieving the information. This estimate is through e-mail, if you use postal mail instead it will take longer. This delay may take longer if you forget to fill in the "comment" with your "registration code" because we will have to e-mail you and find out what your registration code is.
Questions or Problems
Please send all questions and problems to monkeyFarm@kagi.com.
Quick-play
In Dream Wars your ultimate goal is to beat the final boss. To get to the final boss, you must battle your way through 40 waves and 8 bosses. This is only the basic instruction; for more detail, tips, and listings of the bonuses, weapons, and stages consult the manual.
Controls-Left Arrow walks left, Right Arrow walks right, Up Arrow jumps, and Space Bar fires. (Note you can change these in the Options.)
Wall Jumping-You can execute a wall jump which sends you nearly across the screen by doing the following: push up against one of the edges of the screen, hold it for a second, push the jump key and still push against the wall; when you reach maximum height start pushing the other way. This is a skill you learn, so be patient.
Advancing-To advance to the next wave, you have to get a 1000 points. You do this by getting bonuses and killing baddies.
Bonuses-Bonuses come out of the "pipe" in the middle of the screen. Note that the "pipe" changes each stage. Just pick them up by touching them before they disappear. For what they do, consult the manual.
Baddies-Baddies like bonuses fly out of the "pipe". Most you can kill with the weapons, but some can only be killed a certain way. With well over a hundred baddies, you'll get a lot of variation in AI.
Weapons-To get weapons, pick up the boxes that fly out of the "pipe". All the weapons act different; some last for a limited use, limited time, or are one-time uses.
Life-You get 3 lives ( denoted in the upper-left corner ) and each dancing heart is 10 life points. Lose all 10 hearts ( 100 life points ) and you lose one life. You know you get hurt when you blink and say "ooh". If an angel leaves your body, that means that you have lost a life.
Read on to the next section to find out what the DEMO lets you play.
What the DEMO lets you do
This DEMO lets you play 3 waves from each of the 4 stages, instead of the full 10 waves from each stage. It also limits you to only 7 of the 14 weapons. Also you won't be able to play the fifth and final stage( because you have to beat the 4 other stages to do that ). So have fun, but don't forget to get the FULL version.
What does the FULL version have?
The FULL version has the following:
-4 unique stages with 10 killer waves and a boss( 40 waves, and 4 bosses ).
-If you can beat the 4 stages, access to the fifth and final stage.
-15 weapons for total mayhem.
-No more nagging.
What does it cost?
Ten dollars. Yes thats $10.00. We can charge less than a commercial software company because we have reduced costs. But we can not continue to make great Macintosh games without you. Remember that this is only a DEMO version, the FULL game is a lot better. If you want to support Monkey Farm Software, shareware, and the Mac, then please register.
